I'm not much of one to wait for a holiday to show someone
I love them. We should act in love all the year round. We read romances year round. Why wait to make someone feel loved and special? So take a moment right now, and do something for the one you love. A massage, a chore they usually do, breakfast in bed, a movie they'll love (but you might not.) You get the idea. And while you're at it, think of these quotes from some famous authors on the subject of love.

Hi Tam,
The only quote that comes to mind is "It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all" - actually that may not be a direct quote but my memory of what it is. It reminds me of the butterfly one about setting it free and if it stays it is meant to be. As you can see I rather suck at quotes!
However, I totally agree that showing the ones we love year round is the way to go - and little things really do mean alot. My family knows that what I'd prefer on my birthday, Christmas, etc. is someone to clean my house, catch up my yardwork, but I'd sure accept that massage!

Dorothy Parker said, "Love is like quicksilver in the hand. Spread the fingers and it pools; squeeze it and it shoots off in all directions." (I'm not sure this is exact, but you get the idea.)

My husband is a huge proponent of showing versus telling and I am too. You can "tell" someone you love them by your actions be they small or large sometimes better than with words. I believe if you say the words too much they become less effective and rote when actions show the person how much you care.
