Invisible Prision is the start of a new Urban Fantasy series coming out this year. Currently, Invisible Prision, which is the story I read and Invisible Magic which is the first book are out on Amazon. The second book, Invisible Power will be out in May. The third book, Invisible Fate will be out in September.
The heroine, Alex Noziak, is a scrappy non-human who has a selfless heart. She may have spent time in prison, but she did it to protect someone she loved and would gladly do it all over again. She is a witch with powers even she doesn't realize she has. She gets sent to a new agency to learn to work together with others in a world filled with hidden knowledge.
I've got to admit I'm a sucker for anything to do with magic and the uniqie twists that include that magic. Alex caught my attention from the first sentence. There isn't a romantic interest right from the first, but I'm sure once the series really gets underway someone will show up. I will give this series a five stars on amazon and encourage those of you who like action, magic and sassy heroines to snatch up this series. I plan to go to Amazon and purchase each and every one.
What other Urban Fantasy's do you like? Who would you recommend to others?

Interesting post, Mae...I noticed she has the book covers for future (even September) books in the series. Something for series authors to think about - being able to put up covers for books yet-to-be published.
I hadn't thought about it, but you're right Judith. That would be a great marketing tool to let your readers know there are more coming.
Mae ~~ Many thanks for such a lovely review. You rock! I'm delighted you enjoyed Alex's novella - she's such a kick to write that it's hard to keep up with her. I'm glad Judith picked up the fact that this will be a series with three books (and maybe even another Novella) out about Alex this year and three books and a novella or two out next year about one of the other characters. As a reader I know it's very disappointing to get invested in a series only to 1) not be able to get your hands on the next book soon enough and 2) to have the series stopped by the publishing house just as things get interesting. So you can depend that we'll be seeing a lot more of Alex and all the members of the INVISIBLE RECRUIT Agency in the future. Thank you again! ~~ Mary B
Wonderful post about your series, Mary. Kudos to Mae. You're right about how important it is to let readers know there will be more books. I'm looking forward to the IR novel! :)
Great post, Mae. Mary's new series sounds wonderful.
I'd recommend Jessa Slade's Marked series about urbanites possessed by demons fighting evil to reclaim their souls, and Karen Duvall's Knight series about half-angel female knights fighting evil in modern-day Denver. And gargoyles, both good and bad. Both are wonderfully imaginative Urban Fantasy series.
