Welcome to 2021 from The Blog Queens

SARAH RAPLEE and JUDITH ASHLEY

Judith and I decided there’s no time like the present to remind ourselves and you what Romancing the Genres Blog is all about and how we’ve evolved over the years.

When we conceived this blog our intention was to create an inclusive, diverse, international blog for readers and writers of romance fiction. We wanted to bring people together and uplift them. We focused on the plethora of romantic sub-genres and closely-related categories, such as Young Adult fiction.

  • In 2019 we expanded our focus to include other major Fiction genres in our on-going commitment to inclusion and diversity.

  • We remain a PG-13 blog that welcomes authors and readers of all ages and backgrounds from around the globe.

  • We treat everyone with kindness and respect. Everyone has a right to their own opinions and beliefs.

  • We strive to be a-political in our posts.

  • We believe we learn about other people, their lives, their views of the world through books.

While the world keeps turning, writers keep telling stories and readers keep reading and thus gain a perspective of the world that would be lost to them without books.

Thank you for staying with us through our transitions. Save the Date and join us for our 10th Blog-O-Versary May 2021!!!   ~  Sarah and Judith
