Well, here it is, one of the most superstitious days on the calendar. I have never taken it seriously. Have you?
I'd like for you all to comment in the comment section as to your feelings on Friday the 13th. Is it good, bad or do terrible things really happen on Friday the 13th?
Do black cats crossing your path signify bad luck? What about walking under a ladder? Spilt salt? Spilt milk?
A portion of harvested pumpkins. |
Husband grew 15 pumpkins, all shapes and sizes to celebrate October, even Friday the 13th. |

Old haunted cabin in northern CA Do you believe in ghosts? Have you an experience with a ghost you'd care to share? |

I’ve always considered Friday the 13th a lucky day.
13 is a historically spiritual number with much significance and what one believes they attract so think positive and believe the best!
I’m not superstitious about things like black cats or Friday the 13th. I do believe in spirits sometimes reaching out, but most of them-like most living people- are good.
Love the pictures!!!
I agree Anna, we all need to think positive energy.
thanks for stopping by everyone.
Diana - unfortunately I have had bad luck on several Friday the 13th - one such day had me in the hospital having emergency surgery. And when I came too, I found out a new owner bought the business where I worked, and we had all been fired. Another, as a kid (7th grade) a dog peed all over my schoolbooks that I had set down on the ground while I waited for the bus. Not a good day, for sure. So, I try not to jinx myself by NOT obsessing on the day. I'm hoping I used up my quota of Friday the 13th bad luck
Hi Diana, it's just another day to me. Fun photos!
Friday the 13th has always been a lucky day for me. It's really mind over matter. Bring it on.
