Introducing SamMarie Ashe

I am member of the national chapter of Romance Writer's of America, the local chapter, Rose City Romance Writers, plus the Seattle chapter, Greater Seattle Romance Writers of America.  I am also a member of Willamette Writers based in Portland, Oregon, and I live just across the Columbia River in beautiful Vancouver, Washington.

I am a former Corporate Presenter and Trainer for the semiconductor industry, managing a busy sales agency. I have long been interested in writing and wished to have the time to just... write.
With the downturn in the economy, that opportunity came sooner than expected. A voracious reader since childhood, I also studied numerous types of writing (novels, short stories, poetry, business writing, newsletters). Long ago I discovered a love for story telling with an affinity for the happy ending. I now spend my time herding cats and writing romantic whimsy.

Having a close encounter with my own Guardian Angel one day sparked an interest in angels and the what-if was born...

With the world's population ever growing, what if there weren't enough Guardian Angels to go around? What if certain mortals after death were recruited to serve the human race covertly? And what if those angels were not just any angel, but a Guardian A.N.G.E.L., sworn to protect and serve, to not interfere with free will, to get the couples together that should be together – and to do so against all odds and dangers?

These are the stories of the Guardian A.N.G.E.L.s. I have several manuscripts in process, details are on my website here. In addition to writing contemporary paranormal romance, I co-authored a novella for the anthology Cupid Gone Wild (a non-A.N.G.E.L. contemporary romance) with author Delle Jacobs, a cowboy vs. big city gal with a real twist, available from eTreasures Publishing and other digital markets.

And yes, the letters in A.N.G.E.L. do stand for something. But you have to read the book to find out!

SamMarie,
What an intriguing concept for a story about angels! Congratulations on your wonderful Debut novella, The Boss Wore Red, in Cupid Gone Wild.

Glad you could join us, SamMarie. I think stories based on some life experiences are meant to be written. Glad you are writing yours. Congratulations on The Boos Wore Red in Cupid Gone Wild.

I'm finding something you mentioned to me once, SamMarie. People emailing me saying they've visited RTG and like it...but they aren't leaving comments.

For those who are, that's good news. Makes the odds of them winning better.

Hi everyone!

Thank you so much for stopping by to read and comment!! I'm hoping to have the A.N.G.E.L. series launched by the end of this year, it's all about true love and that big what-if. *grin*

Good luck and I wish you all the best! <3
