Being Thankful

For Americans, November is all about Thanksgiving and being grateful for what we have. For me 2014 has been a year of ups and downs, but it's also been a year that has made me realize how much the people in my life mean to me. It's also been a year for me to realize how much I mean to those within my life.
Since my father has been going through so much, as the readers of my blog already know, I have hit pockets of time where I get so overwhelmed I turn into a turtle and hide. That's where my friends have come into play.
And this is where I want to give a Thank You to our blog queens, Judith and Sarah. If it wasn't for you guys emailing and calling me I might have morphed from a turtle into an ostrich with my head in the sand. You two mean the most to me and I wish there was a way to say it better.

Who is the person who pulls you out of your hole and how would you say thank you to them?

Thank you for the "Thank You", Mae. Before we chose to be "Blog Queens" we thought of ourselves as "Mother Hens" (note one of your pictures could have been us almost four years ago).

The BQ's notice when a Genre-ista or one of our 'chicks' goes missing and we hunt her or him down.

Glad you see our "hunting" as a positive in your life!

When I'm really down, the person I lean on and who is always there for me is my wonderful "Little Sis" Sarah Raplee/McDermed. After her, would be my other friends and family. But Sarah is the BEST!! And I too, want to thank our wonderful blog queens for the little nudges and soft kicks in the tushie for us procrastinators. Love you Judith and "Sister Sarah".

Awww, you guys are so sweet!

Judith has it right about the "Mother Hens," LOL.

My amazing sister, Diana McCollum, and my partner-in-crime, Judith Ashley always lift my spirits! Plus reading the Genre-istas' posts makes me feel so connected with the community of writers, even when I haven't writeen in a while. That cheers me up,too.
