Romancing Christmas: 10 Love Stories to Spice up the Holidays

Thanks so much Judith and Sarah for having me today. Let me introduce myself. My name is Sandy Loyd. I’ve published more than a dozen romances in several genres.

Christmas is a special time. One way to celebrate the season is to read Christmas stories or to watch them on TV. I can’t count how many times I’ve watched Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed in A Wonderful Life. Miracle on 34th Street is another favorite.  They just don’t seem to make them like they used to.

Is there a particular movie you love? Share it and you’ll be entered into a drawing for the Romancing Christmas, a holiday treat worth savoring.

I’m very proud to have joined forces with nine other authors to create such a fun romantic read full of all kinds of Christmas stories. As the blurb suggests, this bundle has something for everyone, from the present, to the future, and a little fantasy in between. Some stories are spicy, some are sweet, but all are heartwarming reads that will keep you in the Christmas spirit for weeks to come.

I love the holidays because they are filled with wonderful memories of Christmases past. I remember waiting for Santa as a kid. The thrill and excitement of believing one man could deliver all those presents to all those girls and boys, myself included.  I also remember one long-ago Christmas Eve when my little boy was the one waiting for Santa. My addition to the bundle is an accounting of what happened that night. It was such a miraculous evening and sharing it with others, so they can experience a little of the joy and love I felt that night is one of the reasons I wrote the short story.

I wish you all the very best this holiday season. Happy reading (or watching the old classics on TV).

Thanks for joining us at Romancing The Genres, Sandy. This boxed set looks like it has a little something for everyone. I love boxed sets and anthologies because it's an easy way to get to know new authors while still enjoying the ones I already know.

My granddaughter's favorite Christmas movie is ELF. She watches it all year long even as a teen! I love Burl Ives, grew up singing along with him, so his voice and music in Frosty The Snowman and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer are favorites of mine.
