BLOG QUEENS SARAH RAPLEE AND JUDITH ASHLEY |
THRILLS
- Our first statistical milestone: 100 pageviews! (We’re now at nearly 365,000!)
- Chatting online with Genre-istas on the other side of the world
- Our debut on Facebook
- Getting to know so many amazing people who happen to be writers.
- Watching our Genre-istas’ careers grow and develop
- Our first Facebook Party
- Seeing our dream of a diverse, inclusive, world-wide Romance blog come true.
- Our recent blog makeover
- Checking out our audience, which is truly world-wide. This never gets old!!!
LAST WEEK'S AUDIENCE |
CHILLS
- Discovering porn spam comments that got published.
- Learning that the computer Gremlins’ like to mess with Blogger, especially on Thursdays.
- Finding out Blogger sometimes randomly un-publishes posts that are scheduled.
SHOCKS
- Early on, our blog content disappeared without warning. ALL posts, gone!
- Learning that, although we always explain that we have Young Adults in our audience because some Genre-istas write YA Books, not every Guest Blogger understands what “keep your post and pictures PG-13” means.

Judith and Sarah,
Thank you so much for all your hard work. You've given so many of us authors a voice and reach to new readers. We appreciate the behind-the-scenes work it takes to make this blog happen.
Madelle
Thank You, Madelle - we could do it with out your and the other Genre-ista's support and involvement.
This had been an awesome author group blog to be a part of. Thank you, Sarah and Judith for keeping it rolling!
Thank you, Madelle and Paty. It's been a fun, at times wild, and extremely satisfying ride so far. Best of all is getting to know so many wonderful people like you two!
Congratulations on your blog's anniversary. You two have worked hard and built up an impressive readership. Here's to at least seven more years!
Impressive to have worldwide reach! I had to smile at the first 100 page reads. I can remember that for myself so long ago too. I love the diversity of authors and countries that you capture here. I can always count on something new that I haven't thought of, seen, or learned.
May all of your contributors blossom and prosper! Happy Anniversary.
Thank you, Barbara and Maggie, for your kind words. We appreciate your loyal support!
Quite an accomplishment to have survived and still be going strong after 7 years. Congrats!
And you've been with us all the way, Diana! Plus you designed our new header image, among other contributions to RTG. Thank you for being a Genre-ista.
