2022! Wow, Happy New Year!

What are you doing the first day of 2022? Me, I'm getting a cup of tea and a good book and relaxing. I can see the six inches of snow we have out my window. It is supposed to be sunny on New Years Day and I'm hoping it melts enough to go for a walk.

Do you go out to celebrate on New Years Eve?
We are having sparkling cider at home and will be lucky to stay awake till Midnight.

Christmas came and went too fast. Have you taken down any Christmas decorations you put up?
That is my chore on New Years Day! Along with making pork and bean soup for good luck in the New Year!

And what are your feelings on New Years resolutions or goals?
I have a list of Author goals and a list of personal goals. None are so hard I can't accomplish in 2022!
During each month my new personal calendar has a spot for writing goals for the month. At the end of the month is a spot to write what I did accomplish. I'm looking forward to using this as a guidance tool.

All the best to all of you! Wishing good health and good fortune to all!!!

Walking outside last night made my head cold worse, so I'm at home with a cup of tea today. Best wishes for 2022!

We rang in the New Year while laughing (and crying) as we caught up on After Life on Netflix - an excellent show. New Year's Day, a calm, foggy day, we walked around the neighbourhood and met a new neighbour.
Here's to a much, much, MUCH better year ahead!

Happy New Year, Diana! New Year's is always a big football watching day for us. Though this year I spent it writing and DH watched mostly alone until dinner when I took a break. As for New Year's Eve, I don't think we've made it until midnight for nearly decade. We tend to celebrate on NY Time (9pm here) and then head for bed soon after only to be awakened by loud fireworks in our neighborhood at midnight. We live across the street from several people with large acreage who like to make lots of noise.

I also toast to a much better year ahead. I'm optimistic for lots of good things to happen. May it come true for all of us.

Happy New Year, Diana! I spent Hew Year's Day catching up on an online class I'm taking and listening to narrated chapters for a book that is being made into an audiobook.

My new year will start with a new book in my Gabriel Hawke series and trying new methods to sell audiobooks.

I can see you are enjoying your move! So happy for you!
